The Opportunity

Long Term Futures is supporting a high-performing secondary school in Enfield to appoint a Deputy Head of Science for a September start. This is a direct-to-school, permanent post, ideal for an ambitious educator eager to take the next step in their leadership career.

You will play a key role in supporting the Head of Faculty with curriculum planning, lesson delivery, and strategic oversight across KS3-KS5. You'll take a hands-on approach to behaviour management, lead small group instruction, and contribute to targeted progress monitoring interventions that drive achievement in Science.

This is a dynamic department where outcomes are consistently strong, and your expertise in one-on-one tutoring, lesson planning, and teacher development will help shape continued success.

What We're Looking For

QTS with strong classroom experience in Science (KS3-KS5)
Proven ability in behaviour management and raising attainment
Confidence leading small group instruction and mentoring colleagues
Experience using data to track progress and improve outcomes
Passion for curriculum development and pupil engagementWhat the School Offers
