Warehouse Operative - Alton
We are currently seeking an experienced Production Operative to join one of our valued clients based in Alton. This is a fantastic ongoing opportunity, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
Key Details Of The Role:- Location: Alton
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30am - 16:00pm
- Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
- Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking, packing, and preparing printed materials for dispatch
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
- Organising and maintaining warehouse stock and storage areas
- Ensuring goods are stored correctly and labelled accurately
- Assisting with goods-in and goods-out processes
- Carrying out deliveries of goods using a company van
- Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues promptly
- Ensuring the vehicle is kept clean, organised, and roadworthy
- Ensuring all goods are handled with care to maintain quality standards
Requirements:
- Forklift license is beneficial but not essential.
- Previous experience in van driving
- Previous experience working within a printing company is beneficial
- Strong warehouse experience is required
- Full UK driving licence (clean or minimal points preferred)
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
