Are you a Transport Planner looking to take the next step in your career? We're hiring on behalf of a forward-thinking planning and design consultancy that's expanding its London-based Transport Team. This is a great opportunity to work on high-impact projects across the UK - from town centre regeneration and residential developments to large-scale strategic sites.

🔧 Role Overview

As Transport Planning Engineer, you'll provide expert technical input across a wide range of planning and infrastructure projects. This is not a detailed infrastructure design role - instead, your work will focus on early-stage transport strategies, movement frameworks, and planning support.

Key responsibilities include:

Designing and reviewing highway access and junction layouts
Preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements & Travel Plans
Undertaking traffic modelling (ARCADY, PICADY - Junctions 10)
Using TRICS and TEMPro for trip generation and forecasting
Supporting swept path analysis and CAD-based design work
Liaising with local authorities, clients and project teams
Mentoring junior team members and reviewing technical outputs✅ About You

To succeed in this role, you'll ideally bring:

Experience in transport planning or development-focused highway design
Proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoTrack
Strong understanding of MfS, DMRB, and relevant UK guidance
Familiarity with Junctions 10 (ARCADY & PICADY), TRICS, TEMPro
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
Commercial awareness and confidence working across multiple projects
Bonus: Knowledge of LinSig and/or GIS🌱 Why Join?
