Communicate Recruitment is currently working with a leading Multi-national Oil and Gas organisation in their search for a Group Financial Accountant.

Audit background is Essential (Open to any practice)

The role will report to the Group Financial Reporitng Manager, and you'll be actively involved in providing monthly, half-yearly and year-end consolidations. You will also be responsibel for giving detailed financial analysis and reconciliations.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of the monthly consolidated reporting, ensuring adherence with guidelines, policies, and recommended accounting practice
• Assist finance teams in resolving any technical accounting and process issues or queries and ensure monthly consolidation is completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Coordinate and prepare the half year and year end results disclosures and financial statements
• Liaise with the auditors to ensure smooth and efficient running of the interim and year end audits
• Co-ordinate the Group’s global statutory accounts process
• Assist with group-wide finance projects as required

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA with Audit Experience
• Minimum 1 year PQE
• Understands and applies relevant accounting principles and IFRS
• SAP
