A leading and successful UK manufacturing business headquartered near Scarborough, North Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor / Junior HR Business Partner.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the Senior HR Advisor / HR Partner will be responsible for providing a professional and comprehensive generalist service to a wide range of commercial and operational stakeholders across the site. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor with strong employee relations experience and experience of managing HR projects.

Key responsibilities for the successful Senior HR Advisor will include:

Providing compliant and professional advice, support and guidance on the full range of the employee lifecycle to managers and employees within the business.
Utilising your engaging style coupled with deep experience of delivering legislatively sound advice, support and advise line managers across all aspects of the HR remit including recruitment, termination, performance management, absence management, employee relations and HR best practice.
Ongoing and new project work including the roll out of new HR systems and practices.

The successful candidate will ideally be CIPD qualified, although this is not essential, with at least 2 years' experience in a HR advisory role. Being a well rounded generalist, you will possess sound knowledge of employment law, possess experience of managing a range of complex employment cases, and have excellent IT skills including Excel and Word. Empathetic yet commercially aware, the ideal candidate will be able to balance staff need with that of business, and possess an action orientated approach to working that motivates those around them. A HR background gained in a manufacturing environment or similar is desirable.
