NJR Recruitment are delighted to be representing a highly regarded and forward-thinking Financial Planning firm, now seeking an experienced Senior Financial Planning Administrator to join their dynamic Manchester-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to support high-value clients, working alongside expert Financial Planners and Paraplanners in the delivery of a first-class client experience.

The Role

As a Senior Financial Planning Administrator, you will play a key role in managing complex cases, handling sophisticated transactions, and acting as a trusted contact for clients. You will ensure that every stage of the advice journey runs seamlessly, providing exceptional administrative and technical support to advisers and clients alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-value client relationships, ensuring an exceptional level of service.
  • Prepare and review comprehensive client documentation and reports.
  • Handle complex transactional work including CGT checks, annual reviews, and suitability assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage client data within internal systems and portals.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, acting as a point of escalation for technical queries.
  • Contribute to process improvement and best practice initiatives within the operations team.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial planning or wealth management administration.
  • Strong technical understanding of investment, pension, and protection products.
  • Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with a proven ability to build trusted client relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using financial planning platforms.
  • A supportive team player with a proactive and collaborative approach.
  • Professional qualifications in financial planning (or working towards) are desirable but not essential.
