FINANCE COORDINATOR We are looking for a motivated and curious professional to join our team as a Finance Coordinator. This entry-level position would suit a graduate or someone early in their Finance career, offering a well-rounded introduction to the workings of a Finance Department within an exciting scale-up business. Ideal for someone eager to build their analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills in a collaborative environment.In this role, you’ll gain exposure to various finance functions – from invoice processing and payment reconciliation to month-end reporting and financial analysis – while supporting process improvements and system efficiency. You’ll also receive support towards obtaining an accounting qualification, with the opportunity to transition into areas such as management accounting or commercial finance. FINANCE COORDINATOR ROLE: - Invoice & Payment Processing: Accurately review and process supplier invoices and assist in preparing payments, ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Financial Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank transactions and general ledger accounts to maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records
- Expense Analysis: Support employee expense processing and help identify trends or areas for improvement in reporting and compliance.
- Vendor Relations: Liaise with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure smooth communication and relationship management
- Month-End Close Activities: Participate in month-end tasks, including preparing journal entries and supporting documentation for financial reporting
- Payroll Support: Assist in payroll processing and maintain data accuracy related to wages, deductions, and reporting
- Documentation & Data Management: Maintain clear and organised financial records, assist with data entry, and support digital and physical filing systems
FINANCE COORDINATOR ESSENTIALS: - A recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Previous experience working in a Finance Department is advantageous, but not essential
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an interest in solving problems and optimising processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial software such as NetSuite is a plus
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data and reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative
