Pay - £445 to £530 ( weekly ) ( inclusive of holiday pay )

Rate of pay is dependent on level of qualifications, experience, and additional training

CER Education is supporting a 2 form entry Primary school in Formby, Sefton in recruiting a FULL TIME Teaching Assistant to work in Year 2.

This role will start in March 2026 and will run potentially for the full academic year to July 2026 .

You will be supporting across the Key Stage 1 age range and on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with SEND needs, as well as general support.

What you'll need

Teaching Assistant / Childcare qualification with classroom based experience in Key Stage 1 - Level 2/ Level 2/ 3 desirable
Experience of working with children with SEND needs
Good communication skills and ability to work independantly and as part of a team
To support the class teacher and work on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEND needs
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain oneWhat we offer
