Hours: Mon-Thurs, 08:00 - 16:30, Fri 08:00 - 14:00

Salary: £42,000 - £52,500

Responsibilities of the role:

Lead the design, development, and optimisation of manufacturing processes, with a focus on automation and robotics.
Drive process improvement initiatives to boost efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve product quality.
Support the rollout of new robotic systems (e.g. FANUC, ABB) and automated manufacturing equipment.
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to deliver process solutions that scale with business growth.
Provide clear documentation and tooling support for the shop floor.

Skills required:

Proven experience in manufacturing process engineering, ideally within an industrial or high-tech production environment.
Strong understanding of CNC machinery, shop floor operations, and process automation.
Hands-on experience or familiarity with robotic systems (FANUC, ABB, or similar) - training provided if needed.
A mindset for continuous improvement, with practical experience in Lean tools.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence both shop floor and senior stakeholders.
