The Role:

Warehouse Operator required to work as part of a Warehouse team in a manufacturing environment.  The role will involve all aspects of the material handling operation including sorting of stock, picking and packing of goods, and arranging/loading transport for dispatch.

Responsibilities:

Receipting, putting away, moving, checking, issuing and storing incoming goods efficiently, with the use of ticketing systems, handheld bar code scanners and/or computers.
Unloading of vehicles using mechanical handling equipment i.e., FLT or PED trucks as requested.
Picking and delivering material for internal customers (manufacturing departments).
Picking, packing, kitting and labelling of goods.
Collate and process orders in readiness for shipping.
The candidate

The successfully appointed Warehouse Operator will have the following skills and abilities:

Background working in a warehouse environment.
A basic working understanding of computers.
It would be an advantage to hold a Counterbalance FLT licence but not essential (preference to those with Aislemaster/Bendi truck).
