Plumber/Building Services Engineer - Victoria - £43,000 + Call-Out + Overtime

A leading facilities management provider is seeking a Plumber/Building Services Engineer to join their mobile team covering a group of high-end commercial office buildings in Victoria — all within walking distance. Role Overview:
The successful candidate will carry out PPM and reactive plumbing/mechanical maintenance across tenant areas within prestigious office buildings. The role offers a clear opportunity to boost earnings, with regular overtime and a 1 in 3 call-out rota valued at approximately £1,820 annually.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out PPM and reactive plumbing maintenance across multiple office sites.

*

Maintain and repair hot and cold-water systems, including valves, pumps, motors, and calorifiers.

*

Service heating systems including radiators, pipework, and expansion vessels.

*

Work on boosted water systems, control valves, and pressure sets.

*

Deliver minor plumbing installations and pipework modifications.

*

Conduct water hygiene tasks such as temperature checks and flushing regimes.

*

Complete maintenance logbooks and site paperwork in line with compliance standards.

*

Work professionally in a client-facing environment, liaising directly with tenants and stakeholders.

*

Support other engineers on-site when needed.

*

Ensure safe working practices at all times and comply with Health & Safety policies.

Qualifications:

*

City & Guilds Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent).

*

Heating & Ventilation qualifications will also be considered.

*

Proven experience in commercial building maintenance environments.

*

Strong understanding of mechanical systems including valves, pumps, motors, and calorifiers.

*

Experience working in commercial offices or corporate environments.

*

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

On Offer:

£43,000 base salary (depending on experience)

Call-Out: 1 in 3 rota - £105 per standby - Worth approx. £1,820/year

*

Minimum 4 hours paid when called out

*

Plenty of overtime available - current engineers nearly double their salary

Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm

All sites located in Victoria - within walking distance
