Our client based in Farnborough is recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator. This is working for an exciting and dynamic company who are rapidly expanding with an incredible client roster including Celebrities, High End Brands, Luxury Venues and Royalty.

The Logistics Coordinator's key mission is to schedule the Events Teams, merchandise and visual displays at various events, private parties, and shows, this is a key role within the organisation.

Key Accountabilities:
• You will be part of a busy team scheduling Crews going out on events to ensure they have the strongest team in place
• You will also be responsible for scheduling driver's deliveries based on location, event time, drop off time and space on vans
• Ensuring that the teams have everything they need to make the event a success, making sure they have the correct information and finer details of the job requirement, location details, timings, correct merchandise material, display stands and equipment etc.
• Preparing all the merchandise ready for the team to take to the event, so attention to detail is essential
• Maintain real time progress of scheduled events allowing you to identify potential problem areas and pro-actively resolve them.
• Ensuring work is consistently carried out to agreed standards, costs and timescales
• Build effective links with Events Teams and Crew to ensure effective and joined up delivery to customer events
• You will be based internally but whilst training you will shadow the Events Team to fully understand the job role and responsibilities
• You will need a proactive attitude as circumstances can force changes at the last minute

Candidate Requirements:
The successful candidate will be someone who is energetic and driven with high standards of work. The candidate will have excellent communication skills; both face to face, over the phone and email and a positive can-do attitude. Being highly customer focused is essential.

• Must be forward thinking and be able to overcome problems in a calm manner
• Be aware of Health and Safety at all times
• Be personable and be confident talking with clients at all levels
• Smartly presented
• Knowledge of locations in London would be beneficial
• Scheduling and ensuring timely delivery of events merchandise and equipment
• Must be well organised and have the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work as part of a team in a highly charged environment
• Ability to work on own initiative and making decisions when required
• In house training will be provided but any previous events or crew experience will be beneficial
