Key Duties

Key Account Management & Growth:

  • Deliver revenue and activity targets through structured account management
  • Manage consultant groups aligned to strategic priorities
  • Identify and address barriers to practice growth, optimising services and utilisation
  • Develop new services with consultants to meet patient needs
  • Differentiate services to referrers and track activity via CRM and account plans

Consultant Relationships & Experience:

  • Build strong relationships to position the hospital as the provider of choice
  • Act as a key contact for consultants, supporting clinic experience and engagement
  • Maintain high visibility with stakeholders through regular meetings and events

Consultant Recruitment & Retention:

  • Support recruitment, onboarding and retention of high-value consultants
  • Enhance consultant practices through pathway and service development
  • Monitor satisfaction and proactively mitigate retention risks

Market Insight & Growth Opportunities:

  • Analyse data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and risks
  • Translate insights into targeted actions to drive practice development
  • Monitor competitor activity to inform service differentiation

Marketing & Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with marketing on targeted campaigns and consultant profiles
  • Work collaboratively across commercial, clinical and operational teams
  • Support events, forums and initiatives that drive service growth

Reporting & Performance Management:

  • Use CRM and BI tools to generate insights on performance and referral patterns
  • Track pipeline, conversion and revenue performance
  • Report on KPIs, budgets and contribute to business planning

Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience in key account management and business development within a targeted, commercial environment
  • Established experience within private healthcare or hospital settings
  • Strong track record of achieving revenue and activity targets and growing accounts over time
  • Advanced relationship-building and stakeholder management skills with medical professionals
  • Strong commercial acumen, including forecasting and performance delivery
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills across varied audiences
  • Highly organised, with strong planning and time management capability
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights
  • Proficient in CRM systems and standard IT tools (Excel, Word, presentations)
  • Influential and outcome-focused, with the ability to lead through collaboration
  • Experience in delivering events and initiatives to support business growth and network development
