ROLE OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE

To lead the packing team to ensure the smooth running of the Enfield packing and labelling lines in a non halal meat company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Co-ordinate daily packing and labelling activities.
• To maintain the highest standards of finished product packed presentation in line with agreed specifications.
• Coordinate the completion of end of line costings once batch production is complete.
• To ensure continuous availability of packing materials.
• Working with the maintenance department, ensure machine maintenance & breakdowns are efficiently managed to keep packing lines operational.
• To carry out technical checks and tasks in all areas of the production including temperature, specification, weight, traceability, calibration and cleaning.
• Cover Production Supervisor duties for holiday periods.
• Train and development team members.
• To develop own knowledge and skills.
• Understanding of People policies and procedures.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

• Product labelling machine operations and packing line experience
• Packing machinery knowledge
• Stock control knowledge

Shift Pattern:

8am-6pm (subject to change). Monday-Friday

Pay :

• £14.63 p/h
• Paid weekly
