Job Title: Design & Technology Teacher

Job Type: 0.8 Contract - 1 term

Start Date: September 2025

We are seeking a passionate Design & Technology Teacher to work a fixed term contract at one of our secondary schools in North Yorkshire. This school is situated 12 miles north of York. We are open to both early career teachers and experienced teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Have experience in teaching product design & woodwork
• Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
• Support students' academic and personal development through individualised instruction and guidance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching Design & Technology at the secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Design & Technology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students
