Build by Sets Ltd is a fast-growing building company specialising in high-end residential projects around the Bruton area of Somerset. We build high quality properties and provide our clients with market-leading customer experience.

Due to a rapidly increasing workload, we are looking to engage an experienced Quantity Surveyor on a full-time basis.

The Role includes working closely with the directors and site teams - you will lead the commercial management of bespoke, high-quality construction projects from tender through to final account.

Key Responsibilities include

* Preparing cost plans, budgets and estimates

* Tender analysis and subcontractor procurement

* Valuations, variations and cost reporting

* Monitoring project costs and cash flow

* Final accounts and commercial close-out

* Liaising with clients, architects and subcontractors as required

About You

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential construction

* Experience with high-end or bespoke projects vital

* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

* Good communication and negotiation skills

* Based within reasonable distance of Bruton, Somerset

* Experience in Pro Core construction management software
