Job Title: Heat Pump Installer
Location: Within M25 / Greater London
Salary: £45,000 per annum + Van + Fuel Card + Overtime

Company Overview:

We are working with a reputable and growing renewables and heating contractor specialising in sustainable energy solutions for residential and light commercial properties. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Heat Pump Installer to join their team, covering projects within the M25.

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for the installation of air source heat pumps (ASHPs) across domestic and small commercial properties. The role requires a strong background in plumbing and heating, as well as the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

* Installation of Air Source Heat Pumps (and associated systems)

* Plumbing and pipework installations for heating systems and hot water

* Carrying out system commissioning and basic diagnostics

* Liaising with customers on-site to ensure high levels of satisfaction

* Ensuring installations are compliant with MCS standards and building regulations

* Working with a team or independently depending on project scope

* Maintaining health and safety and cleanliness on-site

Requirements:

* NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (minimum), NVQ Level 3 preferred

* OR F-Gas qualification (Category 1) for refrigerant handling (desirable for split systems)

* Proven experience installing air source heat pumps

* Good understanding of domestic heating and hot water systems

* Full UK driving licence

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Strong work ethic and commitment to quality

Desirable:

* BPEC or equivalent heat pump installation qualification

* Unvented hot water systems (G3 qualification)

* Previous experience working on grant-funded or renewable projects

* £45,000 basic salary
