We're working with a Local Authority in the West Midlands seeking an experienced Senior Estates Surveyor to support their property team on a 6-month contract.

This role will focus on driving forward key estates management activity across a diverse portfolio while supporting wider asset strategy goals.

The Role Will Involve:

Managing a wide range of landlord and tenant matters

Handling lease events, rent reviews, and arrears negotiations

Overseeing general estate functions, including lettings and inspections

Supporting disposals and acquisitions of land and property

Working across retail, office, and industrial premises

About You:

MRICS qualified - essential

Strong estates management background, with the ability to work independently

Previous experience in the public sector or local government is advantageous, but not a requirement

Confident in managing stakeholders and property-related negotiations

Working Setup:

Mostly remote with occasional office attendance (1 day/week)

Flexible working arrangements available - both part-time and full-time applicants considered

Office located within easy reach of major transport links
