RoleRole & Responsibilities As a Support Worker, you will be instrumental in delivering essential support for bespoke care packages.
You'll work with young people facing crisis, trauma, or complex needs, playing a vital role in supporting families within their homes and communities.
This role offers significant flexibility with various shift patterns, including shorter days, long days, and waking nights, and requires a commitment to safeguarding protocols while supporting individuals with challenging behaviors.
Main tasks include - Provide essential support for bespoke care packages for young people and families.
- Support individuals experiencing crisis, trauma, or with complex needs.
- Work within families' homes and communities.
- Adapt to a variety of shift patterns, including shorter days, long days, and waking nights.
- Support individuals with challenging behaviours.
- Ensure safeguarding protocols are always maintained.
Requirements - Experience supporting children, young people, and families.
- Comfortable supporting individuals with challenging behaviours.
- Good understanding of safeguarding protocols.
- Ability to work effectively on your own initiative.
- Adaptable and comfortable working with a diverse range of young people and families with varying needs.
- Willingness to travel around the Cambridgeshire area.
- A relevant childcare or social work qualification is desirable.
- Experience in behaviour support and child protection is preferred.
