We have a great opportunity for an experienced Manager looking for a temporary/fixed-term role, as Supported Living Service Manager on a 9-12 month Maternity Cover contract.

About the job:

You will be working for a wonderful UK charity that provides a wide range of services for people with disabilities. As Service Manager you will oversee and effectively manage the running of three small Supported Living services in North Somerset, which provide highly person-centred care and support for adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and physical disabilities.

Responsible for a team of 17 staff across the three services, you will lead on best practice and continue to develop the excellent standards of care and support provided. You will work in line with the charity's values of championing the rights of disabled people and supporting them to live a fulfilled life that is free from discrimination and barriers to participation.

As well as overseeing the day-to-day running of the homes, you will have responsibility for referrals, finances, health & safety and compliance, as well as building and mantaining effective relationships within the community, with external partners and agencies, and with customers and stakeholders.

Working hours are generally Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, with some flexibility to the needs of the services required, and an on-call rota roughly every other week/weekend. This contract is expected to begin at the end of June/beginning of July, with the option to start sooner if preferred.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary for this role is £30,985 per annum, plus an additional £2,853 in management and car allowances. You will also receive some excellent benefits including:

To apply for this role you will need to have proven management experience in a social care setting, ideally working within support services for individuals with disabilities / learning disabilities / mental health needs

You should hold a minimum of NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care, and a driving license with your own vehicle will be essential.
