Are you an experienced FE/Adult Education programme leader ready to design and deliver one of London’s most high-profile skills interventions from the ground up?This is your chance to take full ownership of the Industry Placements & FE Teacher Industry Exchange Programme, a major new initiative under our public sector client's Integrated Settlement (launching April 2026).

This programme is central to ensuring adult construction learners across London leave FE industry-ready, with real employer placements and real sector experience. ?

Key Responsibilities

Lead full programme design from scratch Interpret and negotiate emerging government guidance Shape a scalable, centralised model for construction placements Work closely with policy teams and senior leaders Manage relationships with FE colleges, borough adult education, ITPs and construction employers Oversee commissioning, delivery, governance and risk Produce high-quality Board-level papers and strategic analysis Drive performance across multiple delivery partners

Essential Skills & Experience

Significant experience in the Further Education / Adult Education sector (non-negotiable) Proven leadership in large, complex, multi-partner programmes Strong understanding of funding models, outcome-based delivery & financial controls Project planning, appraisal, evaluation & risk management expertise Experience delivering government-funded programmes Ability to operate confidently in political or sensitive stakeholder environments Exceptional analytical ability & top-tier report-writing skills Experience managing teams, performance and talent development Construction training / employer engagement experience = advantageous, not essential
