Kitchen Assistant - Nursing Home
Location: Horsham
Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week (3 days a week)
Shift Times: 8:30am - 5:30pm

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a large, well-established nursing home in Horsham, for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join their friendly kitchen team.

You'll be working alongside the on-site Chef, helping to prepare and serve fresh, nutritious meals for residents in a supportive, homely environment.

Your Role Will Include:

* Supporting the Chef with meal prep and basic cooking

* Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene to high standards

* Assisting with washing up and general kitchen organisation

* Playing a key part in delivering an excellent dining experience for residents

* Experience in a kitchen or catering setting (care home experience is a bonus)

* Sound knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices
