Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: £455 - £480 per week
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Stechford, Birmingham (B33), starting in September.

This is a full-time role supporting across Years 5 and 6, with a primary focus in the Year 6 classroom, and occasional support in Year 5. You'll work closely with class teachers to support the delivery of lessons, activities, and small group interventions, helping pupils thrive both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

Support teaching and learning across Years 5 and 6, primarily in Year 6.
Assist with whole-class learning, providing additional support to pupils who need help or who have SEN needs.
Deliver small group interventions in core subjects, such as English and Maths.
Support class teachers with preparation of resources and planning of learning activities.
Help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment in line with the KS2 curriculum.
Provide ongoing feedback to teachers regarding student progress and areas of concern.Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience working within a school setting.
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and key core subjects.
Confident supporting both whole class learning and targeted interventions.
Experience working with children with additional learning needs or SEN (desirable).
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred.Why Work with Us?
