The Role

We are recruiting for a hands-on Installation / Commissioning Engineer to work on smoke ventilation (AOV) systems across construction sites in London and surrounding areas.

This is a site-based role, working in live construction environments. You'll be involved in the installation, testing, and commissioning of life-safety systems on active projects.

Important to Know

• This is a hands-on site role (construction environment)
• Travel required across London, Essex, and M25
• Driving licence is essential (company van provided after probation)
• CSCS or ECS card required

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of smoke ventilation / AOV systems
• Working on-site across various construction projects
• Fault finding and resolving installation issues
• Ensuring systems are installed and operating correctly
• Working alongside site teams and project managers
• Maintaining high health & safety standards

What We are Looking For

• Proven experience installing smoke ventilation / AOV systems (ESSENTIAL)
• Background in installation or commissioning (not just maintenance)
• Comfortable working in construction site environments
• Ability to read drawings and follow technical instructions
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
