This setting provides tailored education and support for pupils with a range of high needs, including those who are non-verbal, require personal care, and benefit from a highly structured and nurturing environment. The school caters for children and young people with autism, severe learning difficulties, and associated communication and sensory needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with complex needs.
• Assist with personal care routines in a respectful and dignified manner.
• Support pupils in developing communication, social, and life skills.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience working with pupils with high needs, including non-verbal communication and personal care.
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting children with challenging behaviours.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
