We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our growing engineering team at our leading food manufacturing facility. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring all production and site equipment runs efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime.

This role is ideal for a maintenance engineer with either mechanical and electrical skills, who enjoys problem-solving and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Whether you've previously worked as a Shift Engineer, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or Electrical Engineer, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:

Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production machinery.

*

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.

*

Supporting continuous improvement projects and reliability initiatives.

*

Working closely with the production team to optimise equipment performance.

*

Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and site engineering standards.

*

Recording all work carried out using the site maintenance system.

Skills & Experience Required

To be successful in this Maintenance Engineer role, you will have:

Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, or Multi-Skilled Engineer.

*

Strong fault-finding skills in both electrical and mechanical systems.

*

Recognised engineering qualifications

*

Experience working in a manufacturing, FMCG, food, or industrial environment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
