Pastoral Assistant - SEMH & Behaviour Support - Westminster

Long Term Futures are working with a secondary school in Westminster to appoint a dedicated Pastoral Assistant to support students across KS3 and KS4 with SEMH needs and behaviour interventions.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people and looking to grow within a school that offers clear career development pathways.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and group support to students with SEMH and behaviour needs
* Assist in the delivery of pastoral programmes and interventions across KS3 and KS4
* Collaborate with Heads of Year and the pastoral team to implement behaviour plans
* Promote student wellbeing, resilience, and inclusion throughout the school day
* Support with behaviour management in classrooms, social times, and during transitions
* Contribute to safeguarding, progress reviews, and whole-school pastoral initiatives

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with secondary students, particularly those with SEMH or behavioural challenges
* Strong behaviour management techniques and a calm, supportive approach
* Ability to build trusted relationships with vulnerable young people
* Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
* A genuine interest in progressing within a school pastoral team

Location & Transport - Westminster, London:
* Excellent transport links including Paddington, Edgware Road, and Marylebone stations
* Served by bus routes: 7, 18, 23, 27, 36, 205
* Easy access from surrounding boroughs via Tube and National Rail
