Line Leader

Partnering with Beams Packaging in Ely we have vacancies available for Line Leaders to work on a temporary basis from July - December. Previous experience of leading a busy production line is essential for this role. Your duties will include performance management to ensure KPI's and production targets are met. For meeting target a bonus payment of £12.50 per day is available.

Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire

Start Date: Start Dates in July, August and September

Hours: 6.30am - 15.00pm Monday - Thursday, Finish 12noon on Fridays

Hourly Rate: £13.09 Per Hour

Duration: Temporary to December 2025

What the job entails:

* Lead and Motivate a team of line operatives

* Ensure the line operates smoothly and production targets are met or exceeded

* Conduct regular checks to ensure products meet required specifications

* Enforce safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and report hazards immediately

* Onboard new team members and provide ongoing training to maintain high standards

* Identify and resolve minor equipment or process issues swiftly to avoid downtime

* Complete production logs, shift reports, and escalate issues where necessary

Please note:

* No holiday to be taken September - November

* Breaks are paid daily so you will be paid for 40 hours per week

* Bookings for the end of July taken now
