The Role
We are seeking a driven and ambitious Employment Law Paralegal with a genuine passion for Employment Tribunal litigation. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to building a long-term career exclusively within employment law and is particularly interested in contentious matters.
You will work closely with experienced solicitors on a wide range of tribunal cases, supporting clients through all stages of the litigation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with Employment Tribunal matters from initial instruction through to final hearing
- Drafting legal documents, including claim forms (ET1), responses (ET3), witness statements, and bundles
- Conducting legal research on employment law issues
- Liaising with clients, counsel, tribunals, and other parties
- Preparing case files and supporting solicitors in hearing preparation
- Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with tribunal procedures
- Attending tribunal hearings where appropriate
About You
- Previous experience in employment law is desirable (tribunal experience highly advantageous)
- Demonstrable interest and passion for Employment Tribunal litigation
- A clear commitment to pursuing a career exclusively in employment law
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines
- Proactive, motivated, and eager to develop
