Hours: Full-time, Term Time Only

A vibrant and welcoming primary school in the L15 area of Liverpool is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team for the Autumn Term (September to December 2025).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and creating a nurturing, engaging learning environment for young learners.

About the Role:

Full class teacher responsibility for a Year 1 class

Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum

Supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development

Working closely with teaching assistants and other staff to support all pupils

Communicating effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues

Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1

Strong understanding of the national curriculum and phonics (e.g. Read Write Inc. or similar)

Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

A warm, positive, and proactive approach to teaching and learning

Committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils
