Fawkes & Reece are proud to be partnering with an esteemed and rapidly growing contractor to recruit an experienced Site Agent for a high-profile onshore windfarm project in South Wales.

This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for a hands-on civil engineering professional to take responsibility for on-site delivery of a multi-million-pound renewable energy project, working closely with the project team to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and programme control.

The Role
As Site Agent, you will be the on-site leader for the delivery of the windfarm project, coordinating day-to-day site operations and ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, and to specification. You will work closely with the Project Manager and subcontractors to implement programmes, manage resources, and maintain excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate subcontractor activities
• Ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards
• Implement site programmes and monitor progress against milestones
• Supervise and support site teams, ensuring clear communication and high performance
• Maintain accurate site records, including risk registers, progress reports, and daily logs
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company standards
• Assist with planning, procurement, and sequencing of works on site
• Support the Project Manager with defect prevention strategies and project handover
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain strong working relationships

Requirements

Essential:
• Proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Site Supervisor on heavy civil engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of construction site processes and health & safety requirements
• Civil Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, BEng, or equivalent) or relevant site management experience
• Health & Safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, SMSTS, CSCS)
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills

Desirable:
• Previous experience delivering renewable energy or onshore wind projects
• Familiarity with civil infrastructure programmes and site management software
