Wireman needed to work on National Grid projects, carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding activities on high voltage systems. The role requires strict compliance with National Grid safety rules and authorisation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out electrical fitting activities on high voltage switchgear, transformers, and associated equipment Install, terminate, and test control and protection equipment Install and maintain earthing systems in accordance with approved standards Install and maintain outdoor electrical equipment, including busbars, disconnectors, and switchgear Perform maintenance activities on high voltage electrical equipment Carry out fault finding on both low voltage and high voltage systems Receive, understand, and work under High Voltage Safety Documents Ensure all work is completed in line with National Grid procedures, safety rules, and site requirements Essential Skills & Requirements Competent in control, protection, and earthing installations Must hold valid National Grid (NG) Authorisation (NG Persons)
