An exciting opportunity for a Research Analyst to help to develop and shape the design and reporting on a range of employee research projects.

The Survey Initiative provides employee engagement surveys and employee research services to a growing and very varied client base from small charities to multinationals and big brands. We aim to encourage positive change within organisations by identifying themes in feedback data and feeding it back to the client in a dynamic and graphic way.

Research Analyst Job Purpose:

The Research Analyst will be working with clients to design and conduct surveys and then with response data sets to carry out bespoke analysis on a range of employee research projects.

The Research Analyst will be involved, but not limited to collating, importing, cleaning, validating, interpreting and analysing qualitative and quantitative information using statistical techniques, diagrams, tables, charts and graphs to inform reports and presentations.

The successful Research Analyst will be liaising closely with the project team, reporting to a Partner.

As Research Analyst you will take on numerous tasks including;

  • Analysing and interpreting survey data, utilising statistical software and techniques.

  • Preparing summaries and analyses of survey data, including tables, graphs, dashboards, and presentations that describe survey techniques and results.

  • Ensuring good client relationships, to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.

  • Collaborating with the team in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of employee surveys/research for clients.

  • Supporting the provision of surveys and data collection, using online and paper questionnaires (or other research methods such as interviews/focus groups).

  • Providing statistical support to inform the research: sampling designs, statistical weighting, response rate calculations, and significance of differences in feedback survey on survey.

  • Supporting the development of the bespoke survey and reporting platform.

  • Making recommendations to the client based on the research project.

The successful candidate will need to be bright, enthusiastic, a good communicator, timely and organised, with a positive can-do attitude.Excellent knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS or similar), databases and MS Office.
