We are recruiting on behalf of a family-run dried fruit and nut packing company based in Kings Lynn, due their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver.

On going contract potentially leading to permanent for the right candidate.

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

* Perform materials handling tasks, including loading and unloading goods from lorries.

* Manage stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records are maintained.

* Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.

* Engage in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all items are processed correctly.

* Execute picking and packing duties to prepare orders for dispatch.

* Assist in building pallets and preparing shipments for delivery.

* Conduct heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

* Driving the company van

Skills

* Strong experience in materials handling and warehouse operations.

* Proficient in operating forklifts; certification is preferred.

* Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse environment.

* Ability to perform picking and packing tasks accurately and efficiently.

* Capable of heavy lifting and physical stamina to manage demanding tasks throughout the shift.

* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate stock records.

* Valid full UK driving licence

* Valid forklift Counterbalance certificate
