As a member of our team, the Recruiting Coordinator owns and supports the hiring efforts of the HR department. This individual will play an integral part in driving the recruiting process from end-to-end. We work to develop strategies to find quality leadership candidates and are passionate about creating an experience that lends insight into our culture and what it means to work here. We are seeking a dynamic recruiter who brings a balance of creativity, focus and determination to our team.

This opportunity is a full-time, salaried position with travel reimbursement. Maplewood offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees including medical, dental, vision, paid time-off, voluntary Aflac and 401K.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the point of contact for corporate hire while also providing hiring support to our many communities in CT,MA, OH (not limited to other regions in the future)
  • Develop a top-notch recruitment structure that envelopes the best-in-class methods of recruiting for both corporate and community levels at all phases from attraction to hire.
  • Attend all job fairs to help support the communities’ recruitment efforts by working with management on initiatives and/or hiring needs that may be needed in particular locations
  • Ensure to maintain meaningful relationships with career placement contacts at local schools and businesses
  • Track results from advertisements across multiple channels ranging from schools to employment search engines
  • Review, create and implement job postings on the company portal and social media platforms
  • Organize and conduct interviews with potential candidates
  • Manage records for all candidates throughout the hiring process while notifying the appropriate party of the candidates’ statuses.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s degree
  • 3+ years of recruitment experience that involves very high hiring volume (ideally in senior living industry or healthcare)
  • Strong knack for influencing and building new relationships to generate a diverse pipeline especially through networking events such as career fairs, local businesses, and schools
  • At least 2 years of coordinating and attending outside networking events is required
  • Innovative with the development of recruiting strategies with a focus on delivering results
  • Hands-on experience with various selection processes (e.g. source candidates through online channels, screen resumes and applications, conduct phone interviews, and reference checks etc)
  • Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems or other candidate management systems
  • Familiarity with social media recruiting – such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Facebook,
  • Excellent with organization, communication, and writing skills
  • Team player with an entrepreneurial-driven mindset
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines
  • Ability to travel to support hiring needs as requested throughout North America
