We are seeking a proactive and driven Management Accountant to join a growing business and provide key financial support to the Finance Director. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of management accounts and reporting.  

This is a hybrid working role.

About the Role: As Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making. You will be responsible for producing management accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and providing financial insight to improve performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting packs

Supporting the Finance Director with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis

Monitoring cash flow, accruals, and prepayments

Assisting with year-end processes and audit preparation

Providing commercial insight and analysis to support business performance

Supporting process improvements within the finance function

Involvement in Work in Progress (WIP) reporting and analysis (experience advantageous)

About You: We are open to applications from Qualified, Part-Qualified or QBE (Qualified by Experience) accountants. 

Essential skills & experience:

Previous experience in a management accounting role

Strong Excel and systems skills

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines

Clear communicator with the confidence to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
