About the Learning Disabilities Support Worker role:
You will operate within one residential location and work in a local community setting, providing hands on care to the service users you support, so you can expect to have total involvement with everything they do. No day is the same.
Key responsibilities of the Learning Disabilities Support Worker:
The Support Worker will oversee their own clients and must be familiar with autism spectrum needs or similar even if on a personal basis. You must be commitment to providing quality care and support, with a passion to make a difference to vulnerable adults lives. You will also be involved in assisting with personal care, dealing with challenging behaviour and doing activities, in-house and in the community.
