Job Title: Courier Driver

We are currently hiring a reliable and efficient Courier Driver to support operations during the peak end-of-year holiday period. This role is based in BT3 9JQ, Belfast, and falls within the dynamic Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain Lindustry. Successful candidates may be offered contract extensions based on performance and attendance.

Key Responsibilities of the Courier Driver:

• Complete 60-75 parcel deliveries daily within assigned postcodes.
• Plan delivery routes to optimize time and fuel efficiency.
• Load and unload parcels with care, maintaining delivery accuracy.
• Operate a company-provided 3.5T van and ensure it is returned to the depot after each shift.
• Deliver excellent customer service while handling parcels and addressing customer inquiries.
• Adhere to safety guidelines, road laws, and company delivery protocols.

Requirements:

• Valid full UK manual driving license.
• Clean driving record.
• Must pass a 5-year background check and hold a valid DBS certificate.
• Must provide HMRC/PTA documentation, proof of National Insurance, proof of address, and right to work in the UK (if applicable).
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift parcels and work on foot for long periods.
• Previous experience as a courier is preferred, but not essential.

Job Details:

• Hours: 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)

• Roles & Pay Rates:
• Courier: £14.25/hr
• Premium Shift (19:00-08:00): £16.90/hr
• Premium Shift Saturday: £15.43/hr
• Premium Shift Sunday: £16.45/hr
