Trusted Recruiter is proud to be supporting a specialist manufacturer of bespoke seating systems for wheelchair users in their search for a hands-on, skilled Production Technician to join their growing workshop team.
This is not volume manufacturing. Every seating system is custom-built for an individual - improving comfort, posture and quality of life. Each product is its own project, taken from brief through to completion.
If you are someone who genuinely enjoys making things - not just supervising or repairing - this could be an incredibly rewarding opportunity.
The RoleYou will:
- Manufacture bespoke seating systems for wheelchair users
- Interpret briefs, notes, photos and drawings
- Work across multiple stages of production
- Adapt positively to change, rework and variation
- Gradually cross-train across different processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the workshop

Relevant backgrounds could include upholstery, fashion or costume production, mechanical or production engineering, model-making, CNC operation, product design or bespoke fabrication - but formal qualifications are not essential. Training and development are provided.
