Our client who are based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire are seeking a talented individual to join their SME company which boasts approximately 35 employees, as they focus on delivering mission-critical control and communication systems to a diverse range of industries.

Our client is searching for a Project Engineer who will lead, design, and deliver impactful solutions.

Your responsibilities as the new Project Engineer include:

* Control system design

* SCADA development and implementation

* PLC code development and implementation

* On-site commissioning and testing

* Documentation preparation

* End user training

* Ensuring adherence to quality standards, engineering best practices, and industry

* regulations.

* Maintaining effective communication with clients, team members, and management throughout the project lifecycle.

Required experience / Qualifications as the new Project Engineer:

* Full UK Driving License

* A degree in engineering or a qualification that strongly demonstrates expertise in the field.

* Strong technical knowledge of control systems, instrumentation, and automation technologies.

* You will need engineering expertise, along with strong skills in problem-solving, teamwork, and communication to excel in this role

About the role:

* 40 hours per week, Operating a flexible working hours scheme.

* All employees are required to be in the office between core hours of 9:30am and 16:00pm Monday to Thursday with a 13:00pm finish on a Friday subject to work commitments.

* £30,000-£40,000 per annum with a premium rate (time and a half) for working night shifts and weekends.
