Adore Recruitment are currently looking for a Process Safety Advisor to play a critical support role within Risk & Compliance team working cross-functionally with production and engineering departments as well as working on projects with risk assessment, process safety reviews, fire strategy and compliance with COMAH expectations.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordination and tracking of process hazard analysis

* Process safety studies (HAZOP, LOPA, SIL) and follow-up actions

* Managing internal standards and compliance documentation

* Support preparation and response to Comah inspections and interventions

* Collaborate with production and project teams to drive process safety into operations and design as well as liaising with third party consultants to scope and manage support efficiently

* Internal auditing, assisting incident investigation and implementation of process safety environment

* Monitoring legislation, regulations and recommendations for process safety

* Leading the review and ongoing improvement of the fire detection, mitigation and control strategy

* Ongoing projects and system support

* Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and internal safety protocols.

* Support safety training and awareness initiatives

The ideal candidate will have HNC/HND degree or equivalent in Engineering or Science, detailed knowledge and understanding of COMAH and major accident hazard risk and ALARP, experience in working with HSE / EA COMAH compliance inspectors, knowledge of process safety principles, safety compliance and auditing, P&IDs and other technical drawings.

Day Shift: Monday to Friday 37.5hrs per week
