Business and Economics Teacher

Salary: £185 - £285 per day

GSL Education London Branch is currently seeking an experienced Business and Economics Teacher to join a successful co-educational comprehensive secondary school in Tower Hamlets. If you're an enthusiastic educator with a strong track record of teaching Business and Economics at secondary level, this is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise to a dynamic and forward-thinking school community.

We are searching for a passionate Business and Economics Teacher who can confidently deliver inspiring and engaging lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5. This is a long-term or permanent opportunity for a skilled Business and Economics Teacher who is ready to hit the ground running from September 2025.

Responsibilities of the Business and Economics Teacher:

Deliver high-quality lessons in Business Studies and Economics at KS4 and KS5

Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work tailored to student needs

Track and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Contribute to departmental planning, resources, and wider school initiatives

Support students in achieving their academic potential and career aspirations

Work collaboratively with colleagues and senior leaders

Requirements for the Business and Economics Teacher:

Must be an experienced Business and Economics Teacher with recent UK secondary school teaching experience

Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies and Economics

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

Proven ability to raise achievement and deliver outstanding results

Commitment to continuous professional development and educational excellence

Available to start in September 2025
