We are working with a market leading and privately owned House Builder and Developer that has been established for over 60 years.

The business typically works on schemes between 750 & 1,200 units and operates across London and the Southeast.

These are predominantly RC Frame flats, but they also deliver traditional housing schemes.

With over 250 members of staff, this is a successful business that has a strong core team of Directors and a successful track record.

The Role: Technical Manager - North London (Fire Remediation)

Our client is currently seeking to recruit a Technical Manager to provide technical support and expertise in fire safety compliance and remediation projects, with particular focus on high-risk buildings (>18m or 7+ storeys) and mid-rise buildings (11-18m).

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in fire safety, building compliance and/or technical roles as well as time spent working on high rise or complex fire safety projects.

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Fire Safety Compliance & Technical Support

* Assist with the review of fire strategy reports and technical documentation to ensure compliance with current fire safety legislation

* Contribute to the development of fire remediation strategies for high-risk and mid-rise buildings

* Undertake site inspections and fire safety assessments under supervision

* Prepare technical reports and compliance documentation

* Support liaison with statutory authorities and regulatory bodies to secure fire safety approvals

Project Support & Coordination

* Provide technical input across all project stages, from design through to construction

* Assist in coordinating fire safety requirements within multidisciplinary design teams

* Support the preparation and review of fire safety specifications, drawings, and related documents

* Monitor compliance with Gateway 2 protocols and Building Safety Regulations

* Assist with the procurement and management of external fire safety consultants

Documentation & Regulatory Compliance

* Maintain accurate records of fire safety documentation and evidence of compliance

* Support the preparation and submission of applications for Building Regulations approval and statutory certifications

* Assist with coordinating fire safety surveys and technical investigations

* Contribute to responses for regulatory queries and building control submissions

* Ensure all work adheres to the requirements of the Building Safety Act
