Senior Electrical Project Engineer
Location: Halesowen, Birmingham
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

A well-established engineering organisation is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Project Engineer to take ownership of electrical/control system design and project delivery across the UK and EMEA.

The Opportunity
As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you'll lead end-to-end project work, from concept design through to commissioning. You'll be instrumental in ensuring full technical compliance, seamless integration, and high-performance system delivery for industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of innovative, value-driven electrical and control systems.
Collaborate with OEMs, system integrators, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Manage electrical/control system documentation and specifications.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to all relevant industry regulations (e.g., Machinery Directive).
Supervise internal and external suppliers and contractors.
Support site work management and system commissioning across EMEA.
Identify and introduce new technologies to maintain competitive advantage.Required Skills & Experience

Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering (ONC with significant experience also considered).
Strong understanding of electrical systems, design standards, and statutory regulations.
Proven experience producing and interpreting electrical drawings.
PLC programming experience and basic fault-finding capability.
