Project Engineer

Are you looking to start or grow your career as a Project Engineer in a forward-thinking engineering company? Our client, a long-established leader in engineering solutions with over 90 years of industry experience, is expanding their team. They are now seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Project Engineer to join their collaborative and innovative workforce.

Working closely with the Lead Engineer and Project Managers, you'll play a key role in delivering engineering projects from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Engineer include:

* Take ownership of specific project tasks, acting as the go-to contact for technical, cost, and schedule management.

* Prepare technical documentation and ensure it meets both internal standards and customer expectations.

* Assist in the creation of accurate cost estimates for project components and support bid proposals.

* Ensure engineering activities comply with contractual, safety, and regulatory requirements.

* Define and coordinate testing and trial activities, liaising with customers and internal teams where needed.

* Compile and submit detailed reports and documentation to support project milestones and reviews.

* Provide technical information for use in manuals, guides, and other publications.

What We're Looking For:

* A Degree, HNC, or HND or degree educated in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

* Previous experience working within Defence, Maritime or Aerospace would be desired.
