I am working with a thriving and ambitious manufacturing business based in Lancaster, and we're looking for a motivated Accounts Assistant to join their finance team during an exciting period of growth.

What You'll Be Doing:

In this hands-on and varied role, you'll be responsible for a range of transactional finance tasks, including

Processing purchase and sales invoices
Bank reconciliations and cash allocations
Supplier statement reconciliations
Assisting with month-end processes
Supporting the Management Accountant with reports and analysisThis is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to both day-to-day accounting and wider finance operations.

Who We're Looking For:

You'll thrive in this role if you are

Studying towards your AAT qualification and keen to progress to a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA/CIMA)
Organised, detail-oriented and proactive
A confident communicator with a team-focused mindset
Experienced (or eager to learn!) in using accounting systems and ExcelWhat's In It for You?
