Your New Role
We’re supporting exciting and fast-growing technology company, and we’re looking for a curious, motivated Electronics Technician to join our team. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, assembling and testing cutting-edge electronic products that push innovation forward. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in electronics — whether you’re early in your career, recently finished your studies, or a hobbyist looking to turn your passion into a profession.
You’ll learn how to assemble, test, and calibrate electronic and mechanical systems in our modern lab and workshop environment. For the right candidate, this role can grow to include work in electronic, mechanical, and even software design. Full training and mentoring will be provided.
Ensuring Your Success
To thrive in this role, you’ll need a positive attitude, a love of learning, and good attention to detail. Some hands-on experience with electronics — from study, hobby projects, or previous roles — will help you get off to a strong start. You’ll be assembling components, soldering and wiring, running tests, finding faults, and helping to keep our lab organised and safe. You’ll work closely with a supportive team who will teach you the ropes, and you’ll have the chance to grow your skills across every stage of product development.
What You’ll Bring
- A genuine interest in electronics, technology, and how things work
- Great attention to detail and a hands-on approach
- Some knowledge or experience with tools, soldering, or basic circuits (through work, study, or hobbies)
- Confidence using computers and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Team spirit and a willingness to learn from others
- Must be a UK National (due to security requirements)
Formal qualifications (degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent) are helpful, but not essential — we value passion and potential just as much as experience.
In Return
You’ll join a forward-thinking company that values creativity, precision, and collaboration. We offer:
- Competitive pay
- 25 days’ holiday, rising to 28 after 3 years’ service
- Flexible Monday–Friday schedule (37 hours/week)
- Company pension (after 3 months)
- Casual dress & company clothing
- Free on-site parking
- Overtime opportunities
