Factory Manager - Food Manufacturing - Brighton area - £50,000 - £55,000 + 10% bonus, share options

OUR CLIENT

Is a small privately owned food manufacturing business with a portfolio of luxury products. Their Brighton facility requires a Factory Manager to take full operational control of the manufacturing facility.

THE ROLE

The position will have full responsibility for the Manufacturing parts of the operation amounting to approximately 20 personnel. It is a close knit operation and with its roots being privately owned it is in need of a food professional to review the operation and put in place modern systems of manufacture that will elevate the performance in readiness for increased future business. This project will cover the process, people, kit, GMP, hygiene, maintenance and planning and will be carried out with a respect for the traditions of the company and skilled staff so everyone is involved and bought in.

THE PERSON

You will be an experienced food manufacturing professional who can learn new technically challenging manufacturing processes. You will be highly visible from the shop floor and be comfortable actively coaching staff and driving improvements across the manufacturing operation. You will be stand alone and relish the opportunity to drive operational best practice in a hands-on manner.

THE SALARY

Up to Max £55,000 + 10% bonus, share options
