EAC are currently representing an organisation who are seeking a Field Sales Engineer to join its UK team. With a long-standing reputation for precision and high-quality manufacturing, the company provides advanced solutions used across a wide range of industries including automotive, aerospace, medical, oil & gas, defence, and research.
On Offer for Field Sales Engineer:
- £35,000–£40,000 (DOE)
- Fully expensed company car and fuel card
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

- Working hours: Monday–Thursday 8:30am–5:00pm, Friday 8:30am–4:00pm
Location: Covering South Wales, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Milton Keynes, Cambridgeshire, Ipswich and surrounding southern counties)
Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing sales across a broad portfolio of technical measurement equipment. This will involve managing both existing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities across your assigned region.
The role is a mix of home-based work and field activity, with regular customer visits, demonstrations, and occasional travel, including overnight stays where required.
- Develop and manage sales opportunities across your designated territory
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients while identifying new prospects
- Manage multiple project-based sales cycles, ranging from smaller orders to high-value solutions
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
- Support and develop relationships with regional distribution partners
- Keep CRM systems updated with customer interactions, opportunities, and forecasts
- Collaborate with internal teams to maximise sales success
- Attend occasional training at European headquarters
Desirable Sales Engineer: - Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical sales
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong communication, presentation, and organisational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own schedule effectively
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Comfortable working in a hybrid role (home office + field-based)
- Must reside within the designated territory and be eligible to work in the UK
