We are seeking for a CNC Programmer/Setter to join our client's busy CNC Turning Department to assist in the running of various machines producing components.

Industry experience or working in a similar role on Sliding Head equipment would be an advantage, although not essential. Experience with similar equipment, preferably lathes would be advantageous. Training will be provided.

Department: Machine Shop

Reports to: Machine Shop Manager

Main Responsibilities include:

* Set Up and running of CNC turning machines in line with company processes and schedules.

* Check to ensure work produced is to specification

* Maintain work environment and machines to company standards

* Communication between work colleagues and other departments to ensure working to right priorities.

You must possess the following skills:

* Ability to work alone or as part of a team

* Ability to work with detailed information in a structured fashion

* Excellent communication skills

Personal attributes:

* Attention to detail, a methodical approach to work.

* Good time keeping,

* Able to solve problems to satisfactory standard and good housekeeping.
